3. How We Test Hosting & Cloud Services

Find Aura's founder — Abderrahmane Anis Nacef — is a full-stack software developer specialising in Laravel, Flutter, Cloud VPS, and scalable web infrastructure. Every hosting product we review is actively tested using the following methodology:

• Real workloads: We deploy actual Laravel applications or WordPress stores — not just static HTML pages — on each plan we benchmark.
• Multi-location testing: Speed tests run from at least two geographic nodes (typically EU and US) using tools including GTmetrix, Pingdom, and custom Siege load tests.
• Extended test window: We test over a minimum of 30 days to capture real uptime and performance consistency — not cherry-picked snapshots.
• Support interaction: We contact each provider's support team with realistic technical and billing questions and log response times and quality.
• Independent scoring: Scores and verdicts are assigned based on test results, not on commission rates or commercial relationships.

4. How Affiliate Compensation Affects Our Content

It doesn't — and here's how we ensure that.

• We do not accept payment for positive reviews. Vendors cannot purchase or influence editorial placement.
• We review products we would genuinely recommend to our own clients and development community.
• If a product underperforms in testing, it will receive a low score regardless of affiliate arrangement.
• We clearly disclose when a link is affiliated (either inline or via the disclosure banners on each article).
• We maintain editorial independence from all affiliate programmes we participate in.

5. FTC Compliance

This disclosure is made in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent advertising regulations in other jurisdictions. The FTC requires that any material connection between a reviewer and a brand be clearly disclosed.

7. No Extra Cost to You

Clicking our affiliate links does not increase the price you pay. In many cases, our affiliate links may grant access to exclusive promotional pricing that isn't available on the vendor's homepage. We always aim to link to the best available offer at the time of writing.
